Brendy’s Flan

& More

Project Scope

  • Brand Identity Design

  • Packaging Design

Brendy's Flan & More sought a brand identity makeover to align more closely with their core values and mission. Before the redesign, their branding had a corporate, generic food company look, characterized by the standard food industry colors of red and yellow. The challenge was to develop a brand identity that could effectively communicate their identity and offerings while also showcasing their Puerto Rican heritage in an appealing way. Following thorough research, the optimal approach emerged as creating a brand identity that authentically embodied their core values and rich heritage.

Brendy aimed for a design that resonated with her heritage while exuding a premium and inviting aura. The use of a script logo effectively conveys the business's warm and hospitable persona, with the letter "B" ingeniously integrating an image of a Coquito-filled cup. To stimulate the appetite, unconventional choices of yellow and a peach hue were employed instead of typical food-related colors. These design decisions not only produced a visually striking appearance but also strategically elevated the brand, accentuating its core values and distinctive personality.

“It was an entirely pleasant and exciting experience.. From the planning, the consultation, the art itself, everything. The concept artwork with the examples of the bottles and the packaging are literally above and beyond anything we've ever experienced. He was patient, understanding and willing to change ideas several times to fit our vision. We are so, so, so happy with it!"
